Cracking On

IMG_20130126_110548I’ve finally got my dissertation started and underway and you know what? I’m actually enjoying writing it which I never thought I’d be able to say but luckily the topic I picked is actually more interesting than I thought.

The title of my dissertation is: Is The A Model of Success for Fantasy Adaptations

I think it’s interesting how varied the opinions of all the theorists and critics are and I’m enjoying reading the text books, except the ones that use massive words that make me sit there scratching my head like “wuh!?” But I’m slowly getting the hang of it haha.

Once I have finished my first chapter and sent it off for feedback I’m going to start to look at beginning my second draft of Dawn. I’ve had some really great feedback to look through from my commentors over on Words Form Windows so looking forward to getting stuck in to it.

In day to day news, it started snowing again yesterday and it looked like it was going to start to stick! But alas, the snow soon turned to rain :( My friend sent me this picture from the door of the pub she works at. Whereas you can see the awful weather out of my window below.

It’s weird that the location of that photograph isn’t that far away from me, only a couple of towns away, but yet the weather is so different.

That’s all for now :D
